Winter Hay Drive

Winter is coming and we need to start raising money to purchase hay! Hay is our number 1 expense and unfortunately, to feed through the long Wyoming winter, we need to purchase enough hay to last over 6 months! We want to make sure we have enough to last through next spring when suppliers run out and prices increase.

Luckily, our supplier recently let us know he would make us a deal, but we have to buy in bulk. We need to raise $10,000 to purchase 6 month's of hay to feed 10 rescue horses. With this deal we will be saving over $20 per bale and be getting free delivery. 

Sadly, we currently have 8 horses on our surrender waitlist, 6 of which need to be placed before winter. Unfortunately, we need to be sure we have the money to pay for hay for our current horses before bringing in any more. Any funds raised over $10,000 will go towards accepting new intakes from Wyoming families in need.

At Mountain Shadows Equine Revival, our mission is to create a better future for horses by taking in at-risk equines, providing them with proper medical care and quality training, and then placing them in loving adoptive homes. We are also committed to community education to prevent abuse, neglect, and abandonment. We are an all-volunteer-run and community-supported 501(c)3 non-profit.
