Winklebury faces a once in a generation problem being created by Vivid Homes. Vivid want to regenerate Winklebury Centre at the cost of not providing the essential facilities and services that the people of Winklebury so desperately need and deserve. We are being robbed of our basic medical, clinical and community facilities which means that we will not have the facilities and services that we need for decades to come! Winklebury and Manydown Community Action Group (WMCAG) and the Winklebury Regeneration Review Project (WRRP) group have secured the services of a planning consultant to help our community fight this lack of service provision. WCAG and WRRP are all for the regeneration providing it is done correctly with our community in mind first and not the profits of Vivid Homes.
