On 9th March 2019 John Greig MBE renamed our local Sports & Community Centre to the Willie Waddell Sports and Community Centre.
We have been actively fundraising to erect Monoliths to pay tribute to Willie Waddell’s successful football career and to inspire the youth of today. We also hope that the Monoliths will attract visitors to the village of Forth, South Lanarkshire.
So far we have successfully raised £18,000 and require approximately £21,000 to complete the project.
