The Wild One Tour: The Last Stand to Save the Wild Horses of California

To save 50,000 beautiful wild horses from being either slaughtered or confined in holding pens by the US government,  I will ride 400 miles horseback on my horse Hinto and perform at venues along the Pacific Crest trail to create awareness and raise funds to save the wild horses.

The Wild Horses Need Your Help!

I need your help in generating funds for the Wild One Campaign. This campaign seeks to achieve three goals:  a broader awareness of the issue; raise funds for contraceptions for the horses, and return the horses to Native American reservations.

Today, thanks to digital platforms like GoFundMe and social media, a singular event can transcend awareness into a global conversation empowering others to have a voice for a cause in order to create a solution. In this case, to raise awareness and prevent the slaughter of wild horses in America.

Action Speaks Louder than Words

Wild One Campaign:
- The journey will take me and a small team  two months from Los Angeles to Palomino Valley, where 50,000 horses are confined in 3% of their allowed space.
- I will document the entire journey on social media  urging everyone to spread the message and will perform at several venues raising awareness and funds for the campaign.

Solution Focused
Success will be defined if we can raise enough awareness to persuade the government to use contraceptives to control the wild horse population and to release them back into their native land. (It costs taxpayers $80M a year to hold them in captivity).

WE MUST TAKE A STAND - SITTING ON THE ISSUE WILL NOT SAVE THE HORSES
