Widowed Mom and Heart Patient Hospital Bills

Hi, my name is Amy, and I have tried very hard never to be a GoFundMe person. I've always been the person who contributed to other people's fundraisers. Even when my husband passed four years ago and left me with our two teens on my small salary, I tried to keep it going and find some way to pay for their education without asking for help, even as we sank into debt I was too proud to ask. But now I am at the end of my resources.

This past September, following the unexpected loss of my new partner, I suffered a heart attack on my older child's birthday. Praise God, the attack did not cause much damage! I had a 90% blockage in one artery, and one stent took care of that. I am now following a healthy diet and participating in cardiac rehab and following up with doctors so I can be here for my family for as long as I can be. Unfortunately, that hospital stay and another cardiac scare have left me with bills that, even with a payment plan and insurance, my resources cannot cover. I am beyond my limit and at the end of what I can cope with. I even started to think that I was more of a financial burden on my family and they would be better off without me. However, I know that they have lost enough already, and I am grateful to God that I survived my attack.

Now I am asking my community to help me, and in return, I promise to help everyone in need that I can. If I can pay it back I will, and if I can't I promise I will pay it forward.
