We at the Polish White Eagle Club mobilised as soon as Putin began his unprovoked barbaric invasion of Ukraine. Using our logistics network, previously setup for our international Polish food imports, we were able to send donated aid immediately straight to the Polish border and across into Ukraine where it was most needed.
Working with our community of family and friends based in Eastern Poland and Ukraine, and assisted by the Polish embassy, Ukrainian MP’s and Caritas we have established our own humanitarian routes to get to areas that are currently not being supported.
We have received overwhelming contibutions in terms of donations and from volunteers. The feeling of unity for Ukraine and the people affected is palpable.
Sadly, the situation on the ground is growing increasingly more desperate by the day, and there are things that we urgently need funding for, such as medical supplies and protective clothing, as well as essentials for children and babies who have been left in care in Poland while their parents return to defend their country. The tragic reality is that they may never see their parents again. Please donate whatever you can and share our gofundme link with your friends and family. The people of Ukraine need our help NOW.
