Wheelwright Family - Santa Rosa Fire

Donation protected
My aunt and uncle Lynn and Melva Wheelwright (amazing musicians) are among the many who have tragically lost their home and all of their possessions in the Santa Rosa Fire. They are extraordinary people who have given so much love and support and service to the community in the past 40 years. They have worked, raised their children and been pillars at church and in the Santa Rosa art scene- well known for their extraordinary talents in vocal performance and coaching, instruction for various musical instruments and of course theater. They now find themselves back at the beginning as it were. They live in the mountains off Porter Creek and escaped with two harps and the clothes on their back. Other than a garden angel (that is standing in the ashes of where their beautiful home and orchards once were), all is gone. The area is decimated with so many hurting. We would love to help them replace some things they lost-especially some of the instruments if possible so they can continue doing what they do and giving back to their community. We feel Santa Rosa needs its music and to start singing again. Thank you to all who are helping Santa Rosa and the surrounding communities! Our love is with them! This page has been set up with their permission- I am their niece Kristy Williams from Houston, TX and my aunt Melva will be withdrawing these funds directly.  Thank you so much!
