Wheels and Medical Equipment for Morgan

***Before you read all of this, this was as of a month or a month and a half ago and my condition has significantly worsened so I’m so sorry it’s not up to date, refer to Facebook health Updates. But I need this wheelchair and equipment more that ever now and more equipment than I was expecting so please help as much as you can!!!!!

This money is going to go towards medical equipment and a wheelchair so that I can continue with worship band and music as well as every day life. I have both an Autonomic Nervous system disorder and an autoimmune disease. Well they’ve both progressively gotten to a very concerning level. My heart has been out of control, with a heart rate getting as high as the 200’s and as low as the 50’s. My Lungs have been suffering with oxygen levels painfully plummeting into the low 60’s, giving me symptoms related to hypoxia. I will be going to new specialists for those issues. Also I’ve gone back on my chemo pills and a few other new strong meds. I’ve been having my episodes that have been making things miserable and a bunch of other symptoms like shaking, palpitations, heart fluttering, migraines, profuse sweating, huge rashes, shivering, pain, nausea, extreme fatigue, weight loss, dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, blackouts, shortness of breath, lung and chest pain, wheezing, and it’s getting harder and harder to continually get around. Also, the doctors suspect that I have Elhers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and with the large amounts of subluxations and dislocations and slow healing, it’s made it too difficult to push myself in the folding hospital wheelchair I have leaving me not using it at all, which of course is making it even worse for me. I’ve also now have suspected Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) causing constant allergic reactions, luckily none have ended in anaphylaxis yet. The wheelchair I need is ranging around what I thought would be $800, but is way more than that which is insane. I’m needing to start raising money for that to make getting around and actually making it through the day a lot easier for me as well as some other medical equipment that I need in order to keep myself from suffering like 24hr pulse ox monitor and joint splints, etc. The chair has to be manual for now so that I can transport it and still keep my strength. I also had something happen to me the other day where I couldn’t move any part of my body for several minutes and it was so scary. Right now my port is clotted so let pray being back on my blood thinners will take care of that. I’d appreciate all the prayers I can get.  But there are a lot of things I didn’t even say in all of this because it is just that overwhelming. Thank you for the support and please share this and help me out!!! I need a chair soon so I can continue doing worship and music. This equipment will change my life. I haven’t been able to get out of bed much at all, when I do I fall into things, I can’t breathe, my heart does things it shouldn’t, and I’ve gone so long like that to where I don’t think my body will allow me to continue without this help! I’d appreciate anything!!

So, it’ll be starting at $3,000 with the necessary customizations for the wheelchair and then the two specific knee braces which are $89 each, two specific hand splints that are $280 each and the around the clock pulse oximeter monitor which is $180, a portable blood pressure machine, as well as some supplies to keep my body temp down when I travel. The equipment is just as important as the wheelchair!!

For those of you wondering about insurance, they won’t cover the equipment and they will only cover a hospital chair which I already have and can’t use by myself for several reasons. Thank you for the support and help!
