Alexia is a joyful exuberant girl.
She has a captivating smile and an infectious personality. Alexia has beaten all odds by survinging what most believed she could not. She was born with the lack of oxygen to her brain which left her with multiple disabilities. She is also legally blind.
One of her most favorite things to do is to go out for rides. She loves to feel the wind in her face, but her mom, a single mother can only afford a small four-door car which makes it difficult to get Alexia in and out of the car.
Alexia has grown and is almost taller than her mother.
It is painful to watch Alexia's mom as she single-handedly lifts Alexia from the wheelchair into her cramped back seat.
