Special Olympics Team to Brazil

We are a Special Olympics Sports Team in Gilbert, Ariziona. Our team is named The Gilbert Roadrunners. We are a Unified Sports Team. That means that we have a Special Needs Athlete partnered with a typical peer. They work together in various sports and compete against other Athlete/Partner pairs from other teams. Our Soccer Team (Football in Brazil) is being given the opportunity to go to Brazil in November of this year. We are going to play in their Special Olympics Games and show how our Unified Sports Team plays the game. We are doing local fundraisers and doing what we can to raise funds, but we need A LOT more money than we currently have in order to get all of us from Gilbert, AZ to Rio de Janerio Brazil.
Many of our kids have never traveled out of Arizona much less got to go out of the country. So this is a trip of a lifetime for all of them.
