My partner and I are working toward building a life together, but right now we’re facing one of the biggest financial challenges of our journey. 

We’ve been living apart, haven’t seen each other for over 3 years now and doing our best to make ends meet, often surviving paycheck to paycheck and starting over more than once.

April, last year, my grandfather passed away the same day my father passed 4 years prior, a few weeks later my uncle passed, now 6 months later, my mom passed, 8 days before her 54th birthday. October.

I’ve really been going through it and even advice is appreciated, I don’t have siblings and I don’t have anyone near me for support.

My partner is studying in the UK, I’m American, in America, and I’ve come to realize it would be easier if he’s here with me, everything’s much easier when you have support, once he’s with me, I’ll never need to reach out again…. I could start my journey toward helping others.

Our dream is to finally be together under one roof, but between flights, rents, bills, and essential school costs for him, we’re struggling to make it happen.

We’ve sold almost everything we have, and over 2/3rds of my monthly income goes to bills, I’m barely affording food and gas just for work.

We’re not looking for luxuries, just the basics to help us get settled together.

My car stopped running and I had to trade it in and now making payments on a car with 200$/mo liability insurance…. Totaling 500$/mo just for the car, housing /bills are 700$+/mo, that’s just a couple things.. gas alone is around 100$/2 wks and that’s just work n home…

Every contribution, no matter how small, would help us move one step closer to finally living together and starting this new chapter.

We’ve poured everything we have into this dream, and with a little help, we can make it a reality.

Right now, we’re standing at the edge of it—and we just need a little help to cross over.
