Wes Durkin was diagnosed with AML on October 18. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and to date he is responding favorably to the treatment. However, due to the subtype of AML that Wes has, his doctors are recommending a bone marrow transplant. The family is currently exploring options as to when and where Wes will have the transplant.

While the majority of expenses should be covered by insurance, there are additional expenses that will be incurred during the process (transportation, potential accommodations, time away from work, etc.), and the Durkins could use your support. Any funds raised that are not needed for Wes's treatment (and related expenses) will be donated to a cause that supports AML-specific research.
