On June 18th, DJ suffered a severe fall from the balcony of his home in Redondo Beach, California and is now in a medically induced coma, fighting for his life in the ICU.
It is a miracle that DJ is still alive and doctors are unsure what the outcome will be for him. However, we are remaining hopeful. The Conroy family has not left DJ's side for days and will be staying with him in California for as long as it takes. There are no words for the pain that they are enduring.
The medical, hotel, and travel expenses are overwhelming and unpredictable as doctors say it could be months until they understand the likelihood of his recovery. It will be helpful for us all to pull together to help relieve some of the financial burden. Your support, whatever that may be, will make a difference for DJ and his family.
The only glimmer of light in this horrendous tragedy has been the outpouring of love and support that the Conroys have received from the countless people whose lives DJ has touched.
