weekend food for needy kids
Most students at Brookfield Elementary come from financially stressed homes and receive free meals at school funded by the school system. My goal is to provide the school with bags of healthy food they can give the students for weekend meals. Each bag of weekend food costs near $3.50. The school has left over food from last year's donors to cover September and October. I want to start providing food for rest of the year starting in early November. $22K should feed every child in need. These kids live in the second richest county in the country, but don't get to enjoy the financial freedom most of us have.
