WE'RE BUYING THE CHURCH BUILDING

Hale Center based, Texas Non-Profit: Hope Ministries SATW is raising funds to purchase the building we've been sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in since November 4th, 2018.  The owners are requesting $20,000.  We are a lower-income congregation, so tithes and offerings generally fall short of the church's needs, and we cannot meet this financial challenge internally.  Much of this has already been pledged, but we will need as much as we can raise from this campaign to pay (in full) at closing, and to continue repairs once it belongs to the community.  We are hoping to close by February 28th...Can you help?  We're asking TWO THINGS:  Come visit any of our four weekly services, and; please contribute any amount you feel you can afford so you can be a part of keeping a house of worship on the east side of Hale Center.  $5, $10, & $20 donations are beautiful indications of your faith in this grassroots vision.  In just over a year, JCBC has served the community with 3 weddings, four funerals and 13 baptisms.   We are presently running 30 to 40 on Sunday mornings, and 20-25 attend our evening Bible studies on various nights.  We serve a beautiful variety of whites, blacks, and Hispanics, and our members range from 7 to 80+ years old.  It really is a beautiful congregation!  We hope you will find it in your heart to be a part.   "Hale Center's New Little Church" - Jerusalem Community Baptist Church
