We Can Dance at UDMA

On behalf of the Center Stage Outreach Team, Inc., We would like to invite you to become a supporter of our 2022/23 “We Can Dance Program” that will be traveling to the United Dance Merchants of America Show in Meadowlands, New Jersey on October 21st-23rd. While in attendance, our We Can Dance Program members will be performing in conjunction with the National Dance Foundation. We are seeking funding to enable us to give our We Can Dance Program participants the ability to travel and attend the conference as performance guests. Funds raised through our supporters will cover hotel, meals, and other travel-related expenses for our eight performers and two instructors who will accompany them.

As you may know, our program has children and adults of all abilities, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, as well as those facing other cognitive or physical challenges. Taught by an occupational therapist and Certified Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Instructor, this dance class allows all individuals to access the art of dance and movement in a social and safe environment. We are seeking funding for costumes, travel expenses, competition fees, rehearsal space and recognition awards for all participants. Thank you!
