Hi, my name is Jasmine. I am a military spouse who had the privilege to cross paths with Alex Rodriguez, Tania Rodriguez, and baby Alani in 2014 while stationed in North Carolina. We were all young in our early 20s trying to navigate through life together. We celebrated birthdays, holidays and promotions. We all soon moved on to the next duty stations.

Thanks to social media we were able to stay in touch and watch our families grow from afar. Along with the privilege of seeing our daily lives I began to see a spiraling events from May 2-5 that Alex got into an accident.

On Thursday , May 5, Alex passed away from the injuries acquired from a tragic accident. Alex leaves behind two beautiful young girls (8 yrs old and 3 yr old.) and his wife. Alex still had much life to live and so much to experience with his daughters. Although, a veteran who was last stationed in his hometown, this fund is to help with any future unforeseen expenses for his wife and two daughters. This is one of the hardest things a wife has to go through and any amount is kindly appreciated to help ease some of the worries she faces.
