We Are CR Thanksgiving

To serve a couple hundred people a hot Thanksgiving meal who are going through hardships, whether it be from homelessness, struggling to recover from Covid-19 or the Derecho. Donations will be accepted until Monday, November 23rd, and will go to help cover the costs. 

We will be serving Turkey stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, a dinner roll and a slice of pumpkin pie.  We have the use of a commercial kitchen and will have plates ready and available for pickup Thanksgiving morning. If we get enough volunteers we will also deliver dinners to those who can’t make it to pick one up.

We will be using masks and practicing social distancing measures.

If this year has  shown us anything it is that we all need help sometimes.  Let’s come together as a community  and remember that we are all in this together.
