WBUR 11u road to Florida

Webster defines football as any of several games played between two teams on a usually rectangular field having goalposts or goals at each end and whose object is to get the ball over a goal line, into a goal, or between goalposts by running, passing, or kicking. 

We, the WBUR 11u Football Team define football as a brotherhood, discipline, love and unity. Football is not just a time for young men to get together as a team to use their talents but to forge friendships, to be taught life skills and create life changing memories. That’s what this is all about; the betterment of our young men. 

West Baltimore Upnexxt Ravens is a Non Profit Organization that was founded on a safe haven for young boys in Baltimore City. WBUR prides itself on motivating each child to be the best that they can be on and off the field. Our 11u “Bang Gang” team specifically concentrates on instilling work ethics and determination into each player individually. Proudly we can say that this is paying off. Our boys and coaching staff have worked extremely hard to pursue the road to AYF Nationals in Kissimmee, Florida. Predictably places us there in December 2021. 

Non Profit Organizations do not take in revenue but rather run by donations. At this time we are raising funds in order to pay for the transportation, lodging, food and activities for every player on our 11u team. AYF is 3 weeks prior to the Christmas Holiday; with so many families still recovering from the economic strain from COVID-19 there are many who can’t afford to send their player/players. No amount is great or small. With great excitement, anticipation and tears the WBUR 11u Football Team will work extremely hard to bring the AYF National Trophy back to Baltimore.
