What this campaign is about.
This campaign will focus on bringing clean water and portable generators to as many families in need as possible. Families with children and those with medical needs will be our priority.
Why we need this now.
Days after Hurricane Maria devastated the island millions are lacking potable water, food, shelter, and communications. The electricity grid has been decimated due to a complete collapse an aging infrastructure. It’s estimated that it will take several months until thousands of American Citizens build back their homes or have electricity service reestablished.
Even if running water is established, the water is likely to be contaminated due to a faulty infrastrusture and access.

Just $15 can help bring a family clean water for one year.
Why I care.
I was born and raised in this beautiful island and could not sit idle watching the news and knowing that thousands of families with young children and seniors in homes without clean water and electricity to fulfill basic needs like refrigeration, cooking foods, and sanitation.
I teamed up with other friends to offer some relief through this campaign.
How the funds will be spent
Thanks to the consideration of MSR, our provider we will be able to secure community water purifiers at a lower cost. These purifiers can offer much needed clean water, they are durable, portable, eliminate bacteria and viruses such as choleradue to contaminationand don't need replacement parts to function. They can be powered by a car battery.
100% of the money will be used to purchase the items and to distribute them.
As soon as we reach 50% of the goal we will begin to purchase and ship the items. We want to send items as soon as possible in the next (3) weeks and will report on the purchase and delivery per what is needed the most.
Please donate anything you can, today.
For some families that have specific medical needs, this is a matter of life or death.

Esta campaña se centrará en llevar generadores portátiles y filtros de agua a tantas familias como sea posible. El enfoque será recaudar fondos para comprar tantos generadores portátiles y filtros de agua como los patrocinadores están dispuestos a vender.
Con solo $15 usted puede ayudar una familia a obtener agua potable por un año.
