Water Recovery for Flint

Tax deductible
During the Flint Water Recovery Efforts, Catholic Charities is providing help to those in need through its Center for Hope Community Closet and North End Soup Kitchens. Families and individuals are able to take home bottled water, as supplies permit M-F: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the corner of Louisa and Root St.

We still need your help!  The Flint water crisis might not be in the news on a daily basis anymore but the recovery efforts are ongoing and your continued support is much appreciated!

If you would like to make a donation of bottled water, please note that we can only accept full cases of commercially packaged water or commercially sealed gallon containers of water. Water can be dropped off at OR shipped to our Center for Hope, located at our temporary location at 609 E. Fifth Ave., Flint, MI 48503. If you plan on delivering your donation in person, please call  (810)-232-9950 ext. 228 or email: [email redacted] with your name, a contact number, and when you are planning on arriving so we can be ready for you!

If you would to make a monetary donation for us to purchase water/filters/etc., you can mail a check to: 901 Chippewa St. Flint, MI 48503, or visit: www.ccsgc.org/donate . Be sure to include “water” in the memo section. This way we can ensure that the funds will be used solely for the purchase of water for our clients and the residents of Flint.

If your funds can be used for other supplies, such as food, personal hygiene items, blankets, formula, diapers, etc., you can note that in the memo as well!

We are still in need of water for the residents of Flint. If you would like to contribute to the water crisis, please consider any kind of donation. Information on how to donate can be found above.

Thank you so much for helping us continue to support the residents of Flint, Michigan! Through your prayers and donations, you are a blessing to us all!
