My brother Mohammed Rezwan Ali was unlawfully murdered on the 14th January 2018 at the tender age of only 19 years.
Whenever I think about my beloved brother the first thing I ponder on is his beautiful heart, his kind soul, his wisdom.
My brother was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He would smile on the darkest of days and bring that happiness into my day. I am sure you have all had his smile affect you in one way or another and we are pretty lucky people to have had Rezwan in our lives whether it was for a day, a year, or even 19 years.
I have set up this Sadaqah Jaariyah water well fund in Rezwan's name.
Let me tell you a bit about Sadaqah Jaariyah and how Rezwan benefits from our small yet effective contributions.
"When a man passes away, his good deeds will also come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)" Narrated by Abu Hurairah, Sahih Muslim
The water wells will provide water for the thirsty in many different parts of the world. Throughout the lifetime of each water well, It will be as if Rezwan has quenched their thirst with his bare hands.
Water is an absolute necessity and a blessing from the Lord. We can make a difference across the globe by making small donations.
My brother Rezwan would have been so generous and giving towards the idea of a water well fund so lets do this to help those who are suffering and to see that beautiful smile on Rezwan's face.
The money raised will be used to dig wells all over the world in the name of Rezwan. This will be done directly through water aid charity organisations such as Muslim Hand, Muslim Aid, and other Water Aids.
Pictures and updates will be posted of the wells built and its beneficiaries.
