A simple glass of clean water doesn’t seem like a lot to ask for but for some, it seems impossible. In Western countries, we take the luxury of clean and accessible water for granted. Unfortunately, there are those that do not have access to this simple comfort.
Leafletta Foundation was established to provide access to safe, clean water and sanitation for those displaced citizens living in rural areas of Somalia. In our efforts, we design innovative water management and treatment interventions that are tailored to local needs. If we receive full funding for The Water Project, it will allow us to:
o Build a water well in one of the most arid communities in that region
o Provide maintenance to ensure all water wells are sustainable
o Provide training to community members on how to better manage water resources
Your generous donations will ensure that we can provide these communities with the help that they need, improve their quality of life and ensure that they are able to experience the simple joy of safely drinking a glass of clean water.
