Who We Are

We are a dedicated group from the military community—veterans, active service members, spouses, and 'pad brats'—who have come together to launch an event we hope will grow into a major tradition. Our mission is simple but vital: to raise funds and awareness for homeless and vulnerable veterans across the globe. All proceeds beyond tournament costs will directly support this cause.

Football for a Cause

From the 7th- 13th of September 2026, eight nations will come together to compete in the 'beautiful game' in a football tournament unlike any other, dedicated entirely to supporting struggling veterans worldwide. Hosted on the university campus of Warwick University, the event will feature 15 matches, with food and accommodation provided for around 200 participants. Our vision is to create an Olympic Village-style atmosphere—bringing players together not just to compete, but to connect, share stories, and forge lasting friendships.

Our Vision

According to the Royal British Legion, an estimated 6,000 veterans are homeless in the UK. While the exact number of rough-sleeping veterans remains uncertain, estimates suggest they represent 3% to 6% of the rough-sleeping population. The Warriors World Cup is committed to changing this. With your support, we can raise the funds needed to provide stable, permanent housing and support for those who have served.

Here are just a few of the impactful ways your generous donations will be used:

• £10,000 – Helps secure the event venue, bringing our vision of an Olympic Village-style atmosphere to life!

• £50 – Covers one night of accommodation for a veteran participating in the tournament.
