My parents, Warren & Becky Hays, like so many others in the Santa Rosa area, lost their home and all of their belongings. My brother, Brandon, has been staying with them and also suffered a significant loss.  My parents have dedicated their entire lives to serving others through non-profit organizations, churches, orphanages, schools, recovery centers for men and women, the Santa Rosa Police Chaplaincy and more. When you talk with them, they will deflect and discuss the needs of everyone else in the community. That's just how they roll. Right now, the needs are basic and day-to-day. We know it will take a while to sift through insurance claim settlements and a longer-term housing situation until they can begin to rebuild. So many of you have asked for ways in which you can support them and we're all deeply humbled by your expression of love. This go-fund me campaign is currently the most practical and effective way to help.

The picture below tells it all. If you can enlarge the photo below you will see two things remain standing; a cross and a clay pot. These are so symbolic in our lives and those they work with and serves as a reminder about what and who is most important in our lives.  The clay pot is a reminder of who the Potter is and who is merely clay. When all is stripped away, we realize God is absolutely sovereign in the affairs of mankind and His love endures forever. My parents exemplify that love daily and I'm honored to help them in any way I can. Thank you for joining us through the rebuilding process.
