Warm Up Iron Age: Our Beloved Heater
Donation protected
Hello all,
As our short Chicago fall quickly rushes on to a brisk, chilly winter, we are reminded of all our shifts at Iron Age spent shivering, complaining about the bitter cold, and hugging rice bowls for warmth.
As many of you know, last winter out of the kindness of my heart, I brought in a space heater from my home for all of us to use at Iron Age. We spent many a night all huddled around it, taking turns to warm our frigid fingers. Unfortunately, the little heater that could, eventually couldn't. It did not make it through the season in one piece, and thus cannot make it back to its original home in my apartment.
I will be leaving it at Iron Age for us to use this winter as well until it falls off its last legs. If anyone would find it in their heart to donate for me to buy a replacement for myself for the one that someone broke at Iron Age, I would forever be grateful.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
ps if everyone who used my heater last winter would donate a mere $3/4, it would be able to cover the cost for me to buy myself a replacement for the one someone broke at work
