Dear Friends and Supporters,
Disaster has struck our tight-knit community on Ward's Island. The heart of our island life, the Ward's Island Association (WIA) established in 1913, has been ravaged by a devastating fire. This historic building, which has stood as a symbol of unity and camaraderie built in 1937-38, now lies in ruins.

The Ward's Island Association (WIA) was founded over a century ago with a mission to foster community spirit, support amateur sports, and promote the well-being of its residents. Through decades, our clubhouse has been a hub for social gatherings, sporting events, and countless memories shared among friends and neighbors.
Despite the challenges we face, the spirit of the WIA community remains unbroken. We are determined to rise from the ashes and rebuild our clubhouse, stronger and more resilient than ever before. But we cannot do it alone.
We are reaching out to you, our extended family, for your support in this time of need. Your generous contributions will help us restore the clubhouse to its former glory, ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the bonds of friendship and the joy of community that have defined Ward's Island for over a century.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. Together, we can rebuild and revive the heart of our community
Thank you for standing with us in our time of need.
With gratitude,
Ward's Island Association (WIA)
