Improve Walli's future

I adopted Walli just a couple of weeks ago. My roommate adopted his brother. Actually we got both of them, and let them choose. Walli was said to not be a 'cuddler' but he chose me and cuddled right up.
We went to the park and I noticed some drainage from his eyes. The next day we went to the vet and she found severe scratches on both eyes, and a major divot out of the left eye.
She recommended that we see a specialist who might be able to save the left eye. I informed her that I am on disablility and live on $750 a month. There is no way I can afford the care he needs. We are treating him the best we can.
He wears a cone, and he gets medicine in his eyes 4 times a day. He is quarantined from his brother, which is what saddens him the most. He has trouble eating with his cone, and so I hand feed him.
He is so smart. He is pad trained (hoping for litter trained soon), he knows his name, he can climb, and all he wants is to be loved. He is 3.8 pounds. His brother is twice his size. He used to wrestle his brother and give as good as he got.
Now we are looking at a bad situation. I was looking for an emotional support animal. I found one, and I love him very much.
Hopefully he will heal on his own. There will still be vet charges, but not nearly as much. If he plays too rough, or an accident happens, his eye could burst. If it does not heal, it will have to be removed. Either way, there are vet bills coming that I just can't handle.
If he goes blind, I will gladly be his 'seeing eye person' for all of his days. I just want to be able to get him adequate care. No one in my family ever got 'the best' care for their pets. We just could not afford it.
I am looking for vet care for Walli. A DVM who can offer services, or money to pay for a specialist. Please help any way you can.
