My name is Richard Van Pijlen, I'm a 67-year-old man embarking across our beautiful country, on the journey of a lifetime!

I was one of eight children, born in Leiden Nerthandlands, and from a young age had a keen fascination with Australia, the rugged natural beauty, and big open spaces.

At the age of 25, I arrived in Australia after traveling much of the world - I knew this was the place where I needed to be.

Fast forward 42 years, three children, and eight grandchildren, I'm able to look back on the rich life I've created and want to give something back to the country that has given me so much.

In April I will be walking 4000 km over a 7 month period from Sydney to Perth.

My aim is to raise enough money to plant 1000'000 trees on LandCare projects around Australia.

Please help me support my dream to create a better environment for future generations.

Donate on my Gofundme page.

Milestone #1 - $10,000 / 10,000 trees
