Walk with The Railway Walk 2021 Donegal group

My name is Katrina Boyle . I live in Termon ,Letterkenny. My family originate from Donegal. From my own personal experience my father left Ireland at the age on 15 to work like many people to try and make a better life for themself. This wasnt always the case for alot of  people ,sometimes through no fault of their own. 

 Following on from the  100 k walk I completed in April to raise money for two Charities,i am delighted to say we raised over €5500 for The Irish Chapliancy  an organisation  in the UK that support and visit elderly Irish people that left Ireland years ago, most probably for work and now find themselves alone and vulnerable after losing contact with their families,or intending to one day return home and never did. Also
The Kevin Bell RepatriationTrust who  help to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the bodies of loved ones who have died abroad  in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland .
To Support This 
The Railway Walk 2021 Donegal Group will be supporting this fundraising event . From 3rd July ,over 5 days in a 2 week period a walk is being organised along the old Railway line from Letterkenny to Burtonport and on to Arranmore Island . It is an open invitation for anyone who would like to participate. 
All we ask is that for each day of the walk ,whether it be 1 day or all 5 ,you make a €10 donation for each day. Less if you cant afford.  Every bit helps.
