From the moment we met, we have been on the journey of a lifetime
It started shortly after we were married, our first ministry position, as we traveled to Boston, and then back to Seattle, then on to Chicago, and then back again to Seattle, where we have lived for the last 10 years. Our life has been full of fun and adventure! In the process of this adventure, we have seen so many lives changed and transformed by God's goodness, including our own! There is one area, however, that has brought great challenge and even many tears over the years - the unfulfilled desire to have children. We are coming up on our 17th anniversary in just a few days and God has put in our heart the joy of adoption!
We believe children are a gift from God and that we were purposed to be parents. With so many children that are in need of a good home, we desire to provide one for the child God promised. We have started an adoption program with Bethany, and are very excited for what this path will bring!
The total cost can be upwards to $48,000. We have already moved forward with the formal application and it's cost of $1000. The next $6,500 will be needed by the end of July, so we can complete necessary preparations and the home study. After that there will be additonal program fee installments remaining that will be needed to complete the process. It is our goal to have all funding by the end of November. Any donation size is greatly appreciated!
