Heros and Helpers

• Target has a long-standing commitment to helping build strong,
healthy and safe communities.
• As part of our continued commitment to communities and public
safety partners, Target has developed extensive programs and
partnerships that support safety in neighborhoods across the
country.
• Target’s Heroes & Helpers program builds stronger communities
by pairing public safety officials with underserved youth to help
buy gifts for the children and their family during the holiday
season.
• For many years, Target and public safety agencies nationwide
have held these in-store Heroes & Helpers events, bringing
kids and their family holiday joy while forming lasting
community connections.
• Target will host these events in hundreds of communities across
the country this Holiday season just like today here in our city.
• Our store is partnering with Missouri City Police Department and FBISD Police Department for
 Heroes & Helpers shopping event that will benefit 
kids from FBISD.
The departments have received a grant from Target, which will allow the department to choose 16 children. We would like to raise $5000.00 more to get to 50 children.
