Please Help My Grandma

My grandma made a difficult move to Redding back on
Sept 1st with my grandpa who is a double amputee in a wheelchair. On Sept 2nd, a tragedy occured when my grandpa threw his wheelchair over backwards and hit his head on the cement floor during the fall. On Sept 3rd he died from a brain hemmorage.
He had very little insurance, no pension or retirement fund. Staggering medical bills are still coming in unpaid.
Since the death of her husband, my grandma has had to undergo three surgies herself and is looking at a fourth one this week. Her medical bills and prescriptions are also piling up.
A few weeks ago someone called my grandma claiming to be me, saying I was arressted and needed her help. A "police sergent" also came on the phone and told her she needed to send bail and court costs for her grandson's release.
These men took her for over $15,000.
My grandma is sick to her stomach over this. She had to close savings accounts and borrow from other places to meet their demands. Now she also lives on Social Security with no retirement fund or pension.
Police have told us that we are not likely to recover any of the money from the people that took it. This heartbreaking truth is slowly sinking in and I wish there was something else I could do to help.
The future is an intimidating prospect without the ability to support herself at her age, especially in a new place where she knows almost nobody.
Anyone who can help us would be doing a great thing for a wonderful, loving grandmother who would do anything for someone in need.
