Mamie has been dealing with health problems the past few years, and has been in and out of the hospital because of it.  This year she was diagnosed with the on set of Parkinson's Disease.  Even though many of her symptoms pointed to Parkinson's, others have still proved to be a challenging diagnosis, causing the doctors to deem her the "Mystery Woman."  Her eyes are extremly sensitive to any form of light, she now has to use a cane or wheelchair, and her speech and eating habits have been affected as well, just to name a few of her medical challenges. 

She has been recommended to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota by her doctors, so that she can get the best treatment and a more precise diagnosis.  At the end of July Mamie made her first visit, spending a week in Rochester, but the doctors had her continue treatment at home in Cincinnati.   August 26 she has to return to Rochester to have more testing and treatments further continued at the Mayo Clinic. 

Our goal of $3,000.00 is to cover transportation, lodging and food while Mamie has to be in Rochester.  Anything you can give we would be truly greatful for.  Mamie is truly a beautiful  woman, inside and out, with such a heart of gold, and we want to make sure she has the best treatment so that she will no longer have to worry about some of her daily struggles.
