Bring Max Home CPS Attorney Lawyer

We have worked very hard to get our grandson from DCFS. I went through all of their classes, workshops, CPR certification, home studies, home environment, including putting a lot into building fences around the property. I did get RFA approval which they decided to revoke after the foster parents decided they wanted to adopt my grandson. The reason they are using is a referral in 2011 in which my then 15 year old son decided to go to school in his pajamas. I tried desperately to get them to remove the referral by writing letters to every department and the DOJ, only to be told that I can't have this removed because I am not listed in the Child Abuse Central Index (it is not listed there because it does not meet federal guidelines of child abuse). I feel that they are purposely siding with the foster family and putting up road blocks to keep him from us. We love this little guy more than anything else in this world. He is our family and he should be with his family. I have been a part of my grandsons life since before he was born. taking the mother to all of her prenatal visits and holding her hand when he was born. I made sure he had everything he needed at his parents house and created a room for him at our house to come over and play and spend the night with Gramma and Grampa. I did everything they asked of me, went to every court hearing, never missed a visit with him, was never late and never left early.  Our grief over this has been compounded by the fact that this beautiful little boys mother has passed away as a result of all of this.
