W Luray Recreation Center

Help us enrich our community and enhance Page County! In we're purchasing the Andrew Jackson (HISTORIC) Colored School located on W Main Street in Luray, VA, and turning it into a county recreation center. Built in 1923, this building has been a church, a school, a civic center, and storage building. The building’s been vacant & void for the last 30 yrs, a corner stone of Luray’s history lost in time. In restoring this building into a recreation center for Page County we’re not only bringing restoration to the past but also newness to the future. We’re raising $80,000 to purchase and begin a 3 phase project to restore and remodel this community pillar into a county recreation center.
The recreation center will include senior activities, youth recreation, a public business center and live entertainment weekly. This center will not only strengthen, employee, and stimulate this generation but will be a building block in this county for generations to come!
Donate today and help this county take the next step into it's future!
