Danny’s funeral fund

My name is Juvenal, I am nephew of Judith Alcala, mother of Danniel Alcala. For those of you who didn’t know Danny, or as his church called him, Beloved, he was a 12 year old shy boy with an over the top personality waiting to be shown. For those of us that got to see it, we knew the true beauty behind this boy’s smile and his sweet voice.

After a battle with COVID-19 this summer our beautiful Danny was diagnosed with Leukemia. A cancer that forms in the blood making it difficult to fight infections. And even through his battle, he kept his best foot forward and fought like a champ! He made mom and dad laugh each and every day there. 

On Sept 25th, our family’s worst nightmare came true. Danny passed. Resulting from complications of chemotherapy, Danny got Sepsis, a bacterial infection in the blood. Danny’s family will never be the same. His siblings will forever miss their brother. And although Danny may not be here today. He will never be truly gone because he lives through each and every one of us. With amazing memories and stories that will keep him alive forever ❤️

I created this page in hopes to help ease some of the financial burden. Things like funeral expenses, bills, rent, and expenses the family may have acquired or even inquire moving forward. My aunt and uncles life will never be the same. I hope to raise this money to help her family relief the financial strain and most importantly set up for their new life without Danny. I have been granted permission by my aunt to manage this gofundme. She has trusted in me to deliver this money to them outside of the gofundme. I will post updates with the funeral services and things the money has been used for.
