The Griffin Family

Hi, my name is Dena, and I've started this GoFundMe Fundraiser for the Griffin family. On Saturday, July 24, 2022, at 5:26 pm, I received a phone call from my daughter Alena. She was hysterically crying as she tried to explain to me, "Mom, our house is in our fire". As a mother, it was a terrifying phone call to receive. I didn't know who was in the home or what had happened. I jumped in my car and drove from Woodstock, Ga to Alpharetta, Ga in 30 minutes (which generally takes 45 minutes). I was in utter shock when I arrived and saw Alena's dad, Jason and his wife Eden's home burning in a hot inferno of flames. Sadly, their two dogs and cat died in the fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt or lost their life. However, losing their pets was absolutely devasting. This family has lost everything they owned in the fire. They walked away with their clothes on their backs. I'm asking for prayer for this family and any donations to help them with food, shelter, clothes and whatever they will need to help them thru this very unfortunate, traumatic and difficult time right now.
