Camps International Kenya Volunteering Expedition 2026

Hi, my name is Joshua.

I am 14 years old and I am trying to raise money to help with a trip to Kenya in July 2026 with Camps International.

The trip is based around 3 different camps where I will be taking part in various projects to help the local Kenyan communities, and to help with wildlife and conservation projects.

Some of the things I will be taking part will be:

- Creating safe ethical elephant deterrents to keep local crops protected.

- Deworming goats and other livestock

- Making elephant dung paper art that can be sold.

- Help build classrooms to improve access to education

- Help build new homes

This trip will take me from the savannahs of Tsavo, to the white-sand beaches of Diani. I will learn the culture of the Maasai and spend time with locals learning different skills. There is an adventure element to the trip as well where I will complete a PADI open water scuba diving course.

I need to fundraise £4950 to enable me to take part in the expedition.

To help raise this money I will be doing different things between now and May 2026 such as:

- car boot sales

- ebay sales

- charity nights at my tennis club

- washing cars near where I live

- hopefully get a part time job in a shop or something similar
