Dan Cosgrove for Hurricane Harvey

People have been helplessly watching the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey. Families have been displaced and many animals have lost their homes. The devastation is unimaginable, and the cities of Houston and surrounding areas are already inundated with an estimated 1,000,000 stray animals.

Dan Cosgrove has agreed to assist in an effort to relieve a local Houston Rescue, Houston k911, of some of the dogs they have recently rescued, so these rescuers can go out and continue to rescue the new victims of this hurricane.

Transportation will be arriving September 7th and will be approximately $225 per dog, including health certificate, and the 10% fee taken out by GoFundMe.

At this time Dan Cosgrove has agreed to take 5 dogs, and funds are needed for transportation and health certificates.

I am a Connecticut dog rescuer of almost 30 years, and I frequently rescue dogs from Houston.  Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter in Branford CT reached out to me yesterday, in am effort to assist the animals in Hurricane ravaged areas. This is my local animal shelter,  and happens to be one of the best no kill shelters in CT.  The money raised in this GoFundMe will be used to pay transport from Houston to Dan Cosgrove shelter in Branford Connecticut, CT.
