We are raising funds for the Australian Red Cross to help contribute to the Australian bushfires relief efforts. We are a travel brand so it is important to use that we help one of the most beautiful countries that is in need.
Funds will be sent to everyone across Australia who lost their home to bushfires since July 2019. At the same time, funds will also go to shelter and relief supplies for people who are stranded and communities who are trying to clean up and rebuild. Australian Red Cross commits that all funds donated to Disaster Relief and Recovery will only be used for emergency work in Australia.
Australia is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world and The Points Guy is committed to giving back to this country in need.
More than 20 people have been killed, and thousands of residents have been forced to abandon their homes. Disturbing images depict dehydrated koalas desperate for help, fleeing kangaroos and charred landscapes. This campaign will help the firefighters, people, and animals of Australia.
The Points Guy will be matching all donations raised on this page up to $10,000.
GoFundMe.org, a US-based 501c3 non-profit organization, will be withdrawing the funds from the campaign and facilitating a transfer to the AU Red Cross after that.
