We knew we were settling in Florida and so we never made arrangements at Beth David Cemetery.
Ira waited for me to retire and since July 2017 until his passing, mostly what we did was go to doctors.
On our anniversary in September of 2018, he had a horrific stomach ache which was diagnosed as pancreatitis. He has been in and out of hospitals since and only the day before he died did we discuss and find out end of life.
We had to find a Jewish chapel, plan a funeral and purchase a grave.
We always planned that me, Andy and Michael would live in this home made for him.
Somehow, the pop up he told us he signed was max. So no more pension and Social Security took back the March 1 deposit.
We don't want to move, but we have no choice. All our friends and family asked what they could do for us. Well, we need $!
You who know me well know I am mortified to ask for a handout.
I was going to ask for the balance of the house just to see.
