For more than three decades, the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center has served as a beacon in the community for children and families in need.
They work closely with a variety of professionals, parent advisors, volunteers, interns and supporters to carry out our mission and meet the needs of San Francisco’s most vulnerable families."

Who We Are
We are the dev team of Keeper and the Soldier, an indie game that will focus on narrative, exploration, and self discovery from a young girl's perspective as she treks through a foreign world.
"A 2.5D stealth exploration puzzle platformer from Jumpbutton Studio about a lonely young girl, destined to be a soldier. She bonds with a curious creature called the Keeper who needs her help. She must recover pieces of an ancient device to save the archives of human history before the Keeper's exhausted life comes to an end.
Time will tell if her actions bring the dawn of a new era for humanity's future."
This game stemmed from a personal project that our project lead started in 2009, which was a collection of characters, story, and artwork relating to her efforts in making sense of and coming to terms with her experiences with child abuse. Keeper and the Soldier uses symbolism and fantasy in the tales of a young girl's struggles; inspired by real ordeals.
Our team is a strong supporter of child abuse prevention, and will contribute to and plan future charitable/awareness events towards this cause.

"Keeper and the Soldier is a passion project. But it is also one that I want to and feel I must do, a form of closure to the child abuse I endured and witnessed. Even if my family and/or the dev team are the only ones who get something out of KATS, that would be amazing. I hope though on a bigger scale that the game will open up discussion and allow players to experience one person’s story/representation of a problem that plagues the generations and hinders us as a whole."
