Volunteer Medical Trip to Peru

Volunteers Around the World is a Non-Governmental Organization through Brigham Young University dedicated to providing medication, free medical, and dental care to communities who need it the most. This year's trip is in June to Cusco, Peru where many volunteers will come together to help provide superior medical care, that would not otherwise be available. 

I am looking to raise money for the opportunity to volunteer as a medical personnel in Peru with Volunteers Around the World. This will be an opportunity for me to work directly with patients by assisting doctors in a clinic environment. I will be able to help further personal medical care in Peru during this time, and there will be learning opportunities concerning common local diseases and treatment courses by providing care to patients. Having the opportunity to serve in Peru as a medical personnel would mean the world to me. Not only would I be able to share the medical knowledge I have learned so far in my college career, but I would be able to serve people who live in much humbler circumstances than my own. I cannot think of a better way to spend my time. The money that I raise will help pay for my opportunity to make the volunteer group and my travel expenses to Peru. This trip would mean the world to me, and it would be the experience of a lifetime. If you could donate, even just a few dollars, that would help bring me closer to an amazing service opportunity!
