Volunteering in Israel

This picture is more than just an adorable picture of my Sister and I on top of Masada in Israel.
This picture documents the moment where my ego's guard was down, where my fears were quieted by Mother Nature's beauty, where I could truly hear myself think. And my soul was steady and strong telling me to Let Go and Give Back.
So that's the short story of a longgg process of where I am today. I have decided to return to Jaffa, Israel, an Arab and Jewish neighborhood near Tel Aviv, to work as a five-month volunteer.
I am striving to build trust between two communities with deep gaps dividing them, assisting refugees acclimate to their new life and empowering women who come from a completely different culture than you and I from the States. In the States, we are fortunate from being removed from these conflicts, but y'all, these conflicts are real.
There's a lot to be done in this world. I'm very excited to let go, and start doing what I can to work towards a better future for those in the Middle East.
Although monetary support will help me have a roof over my head, meals and insurance, knowing that I have your support will keep me focused on my mission of giving back.
Baby steps towards a better future. That's what we can do, and that's what I am asking from you. Anything you can donate will help me in this journey.
