Volunteering at World Central Kitchen

Donation protected
Hello,

My name is Olga Sorzano.
On February 23rd my world turned upside down when I heard the news that Russia, the country that I was born in brutally attacked Ukraine.
It's hard to find the right words to describe my feelings. I was in the state of utter shock and disbelief.
In the following several weeks, we organized several fundraisers and raised over $13k that we donated to United Help Ukraine and World Central Kitchen.
But I felt that there were more ways that I could help. So I enrolled at World Central Kitchen, the organization that was started by Jose Andres, amazing chef and the world's best humanitarian, and flew to Poland to volunteer at their kitchen that was built right on the Ukrainian border to help to feed the refugees that escaping the war as well as sending food to Ukraine to feed the soldiers and other people who didn't want or couldn't leave the war zone.
It was a life changing and sobering experience. I found both my cooking and my language skills very useful. And I kept thinking about coming back to help ever since I returned home.
So I decided to go back for another week to volunteer at WCK as well help at the border.
I am looking to raise funds to help me to cover my travel expenses.
Any extra money above $1600 will be spent to buy basic necessities and stock up Mama and Baby tent and/or donated directly to WCK.
