Voltage Dance Crew get to HHI World Championships

Hi, we are Voltage Dance Crew. We are a group of friends from the Drogheda/Duleek area. In September 2023 we decided to make a crew of our own as we all share a strong love for dance. In the 5 short months of us creating together, we have qualified to represent Ireland in the Hip Hop International (HHI) World Championships in Phoenix, Arizona this coming August. This is an incredible achievement as the standard in Ireland for this competition is incredible and we came home with a silver medal, missing out on the top spot by 0.2 of a point. We’re ecstatic to have accomplished this in such a short space of time as we are an independent crew and do everything on our own without a dance teacher. Unfortunately, the cost of getting to America is very high and we need to try and fundraise as much as possible. We are determined to train hard to put Ireland on the map at this competition and hopefully showcase the talent that is in our town on the world stage. We appreciate any donation big or small and we’re looking forward to the world!
