Khan Academy O'zbek 1st round campaign closed

19 August 2019 update:

Dear donors and patrons of the "Khan Academy O'zbek" campaign.  It is with our great pleasure, we inform you that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Community Initiative Committee approved matching of EUR 50,000 for this campaign.  Grant funding will be credited to the USD account of NGO "Bilim Onlayn" in 30 days.  We would like to congratulate all donors with this milestone achievement. 

This is the first EBRD's Community Initiative project in Uzbekistan.
 
First EBRD's EdTech project.

Our campaign facilitated collection of the EUR 52,000 via this gofundme page and local payment and EUR 50,000 EBRD grant funding.

EBRD team started this campaign to support our friends - founder's of this project and talented local entrepreneurs Botir and Nigora Arifjanov.  Botir and Nigora have a challenging task to deliver this project on time and on budget. We very much look forward to hear their success stories, achievements , scope of work and the regular reports on the use of funds.  We will publish all information we receive on this page. 

EBRD and many international volunteers and donors that supported this campaign provided comments to the project's business plan and budget.  The EBRD colleagues created project model for monitoring of the project income and expenses.  We look forward to see some excellent project implementation and diligent use of public funds. 

With this our first historic crowd funding campaign is completed.
