Vista Field Dugout Shade Structure and Upgrades

Posted in the updates section below is our current progress on my Eagle Scout project! Here is the original info about the project with updated timeline:

I’ve played baseball at Vista Field throughout elementary school in town, but over the years the field’s dugout areas have become increasingly filled with weeds, less dirt, and uneven benches.  In order to improve the field for the many young kids in our town that play baseball like I used to at Vista Field, I want to improve the dugout areas with shade structures, even out the existing lopsided benches,  and add new dugout gravel/dirt, all while using lasting material.

This Eagle Scout project will be a challenge, but with your generous donation I will be able to finance the shade structures and all the other materials necessary for the project and improve the quality of Vista Field for years to come!

I hope to be able to complete this project in the next month while not intervening with already scheduled games and practices at Vista Field.

All additional funds not used towards this Eagle Scout project will be directly donated to Lewisboro Baseball Association (LBA) and Lewisboro Town Parks and Recreation.
