Virtual Tours Marketing Project

With £2,000 we will be able to make a truly effective and positive upgrade to the Guide London website to promote our Virtual Tours and then support that upgrade with further marketing of the Virtual Tours via platforms such as Facebook.

We suggest a contribution of £10 each, but please do give whatever you feel comfortable with. No member is expected or required to contribute, we understand that these are hard times for some. That said, the more we raise, the more we can promote this new revenue opportunity for Guides - perhaps the only source of revenue for some during an exceptionally difficult time. All funds raised will go exclusively towards the promotion and marketing of Virtual Tours on the Guide London website.

We are making this unusual step of creating a Go Fund Me Campaign in part because this project will only benefit those Guides who are providing Virtual Tours (and so this way only those who choose to will contribute towards this project) and also because we are having to be careful with our expenditure due to having less income at this time (Unite are not paying us our usual monthly dividend at the moment and we will only be taking half the annual income from members in August and the other half in January in order to lessen the burden of membership for everybody at this time).

That said, Branch Council do believe Virtual Tours to be an important addition to the brand and hence have pledged to put any surplus from the Virtual Tours Training towards the website marketing project and then add to that an extra £200.
